He was born February 4, 1924 in Canada the son of Edward and Margaret (nee Gilles) Reid. He was united in marriage to Margaret Millar January 4, 1964 in Chicago, IL He is survived by his wife Margaret; two daughters Holly (Wayne) Jackson and Lisa (John) Hall; five grandchildren Wayne Jackson Jr., Andrew Jackson, Ian Hall and Anna Hall. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter April Jackson. Visitation will be held at Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL (three blocks west of the Fox River and one block south of Route 64) 5-7 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2010. A memorial service will be at 7:00 P.M. following the visitation. Rev. Carl Gray will officiate.
